To ensure the best possible results, please follow these recommendations:

Keep your skin well moisturised to maintain optimal condition

Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning before your appointment

Limit alcohol consumption both before and after your procedure, as it can impede the healing process

Discontinue use of Minoxidil and other topical hair stimulation products (Nue Strand treatments only)

Ensure your hair colouring appointments are scheduled at least 2 weeks before or after your treatment (Nue Strand treatments only)
To prepare for your treatment, please follow the guidelines below:

Avoid coffee, tea (including black and green), and alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment

Arrive with no makeup, lotions, or oils on the treatment area

Avoid products containing retinol or exfoliating acids in the days leading up to your appointment

Ensure your skin is clean and completely dry
-
Do not use alcohol-based toners or harsh scrubs, as they may irritate the skin
-
You may take paracetamol 20–30 minutes prior to your appointment to minimise discomfort
-
If possible, avoid scheduling your appointment during your menstrual cycle, as sensitivity can be heightened
Aftercare Instructions

Long Term Maintenance
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure optimal healing and long-lasting results:

Keep the treated area clean and dry

Wear loose, soft, natural fabrics to prevent irritation

Avoid direct sunlight and swimming for at least 48 hours after your treatment

Apply aftercare products as directed, or use a thin layer of a fragrance-free moisturiser twice daily to soothe the skin

Follow all aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner carefully

Avoid alcohol consumption where possible, as it can hinder the healing process
During the first week, it is critical to follow these guidelines to support proper recovery and optimal pigment retention:

Continue gentle cleansing of the area

The colour will gradually settle into the skin over time

Avoid makeup for the first 7 days to prevent irritation and ensure pigment retention

Keep the area dry for at least the first 3 days

Wear loose, breathable clothing to minimise friction
Avoid the Following:

Touching the treated area unnecessarily

Excessive sweating

Applying makeup near or on the treated area

Picking, rubbing, or scratching the skin

Sun exposure and tanning beds, as these can affect pigment retention

Proper aftercare is essential for healing, pigment retention, and overall results

Following these instructions carefully will help you achieve the best outcome from your treatment

The sun and UV can break down the pigments and damage the newly healed skin.Always use a high-quality, non-comedogenic sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect your investment.

Pigment will look darker than after procedure (up to 2 weeks). Do not worry this is normal – color will fade to its final shade in a few weeks as the skin heals

Any swelling of the area, redness, tenderness, flaking or itchy feeling will subside in 24-72 hours.

Healing is still ongoing, so please continue to follow these precautions:

Continue gentle cleansing of the area

Swimming pools, oceans, and hot tubs

Saunas and steam rooms

Direct sunlight and tanning beds

Scratching or disturbing the skin

Light makeup may be worn, but perform a patch test first to avoid irritation

Age requirement
Permanent make-up treatments cannot be performed on anyone under 18 years of age.
Pregnancy & Nursing
We do not recommend undergoing treatment if you are pregnant or nursing.
If you still wish to proceed, please consult your doctor first.
If any of the following apply to you, we strongly advise that you seek medical approval before booking your treatment, as these conditions may affect treatment effectiveness, healing process and pigment retention.
Relevant conditions include:

Blood disorders (e.g., hemophilia, sickle cell anemia, platelet disorders)

Heart disease or high blood pressure

Herpes

Keloid or hypertrophic scarring
Medical Conditions
Medication and other treatments
Please consult your doctor if you are currently using:

Hydrocortisone or steroid creams

Prescription medications that affect the dermal layer

Anticoagulants (blood thinners)
Skin Care Products (Retinol / Retin-A)

Discontinue use of Retin-A / Retinol at least 5–6 months before your appointment

Avoid using these products for 30 days after treatment (Failure to pause these products may result in premature pigment fading.)
